3-4-1. 변동성의 종류

변동성의 종류에는 아래가 있다.

Actual/Local: any instant of time 동안의 무작위성 - 어떤 'timescale'이 없다.

Historical/Realized: some period in the past 동안의 무작위성 - period와 method for estimation이 항상 specified되어야 한다.

Implied - 모델에 넣었을 때 market price를 아웃풋하는 값이다. Market view of volatility와는 살짝 다르다. (옵션 가격은 model factor와 수급 등의 real-life factor에 좌우되기 때문)

Forward - 미래의 무작위성. Period일 수도 있고 instant일 수도 있다. Variance swap을 통해 트레이드 가능.
